Christmas Camembert

Christmas Camembert, Nuts, Cranberry, Rosemary, Soft Cheese..

If your hosting a dinner which I am this year, why not try some impressive starters and appetizers to be the spectacle of your party? or even impress the mother in law with your taste in cuisine..?

Simply try out this quick and easy dish which is such a festive combo.. cheese, nuts, cranberry, some warm toasty fresh bread.. perfect!

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

1 x 250g Camembert, in its box

1 clove garlic, finely sliced

Fresh Rosemary Sprigs

Olive oil

Fresh Bread ( I used Sunflower & Honey and Irish Wheaten) but you can use any!

Pinch of sea salt

Small handful of mixed nuts

2 Tablespoons of Cranberry Sauce

Method:

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4. Leaving it in the box, score and cut of the top layer of the skin. Poke the garlic slices in the cheese and some rosemary, with a little olive oil then bake in the hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until melted centre.

Pop the slices of your favourite bread into the oven with the camembert to crisp up.

In two seperate small bowls, add your cranberry sauce in one and mixed nuts in the other. Once the bread is done, cheese is oozy, place all on a board to serve.

Then guests can dunk their bread into the cheese, nuts and a dab of cranberry for mouthful’s of Christmas.
